What is Shopify POS?
Shopify POS is a unique omnichannel system that truly understands and accommodates retailers selling both online and in-person. Using the free Shopify App, you can process online and in-person transactions and arrange for delivery or curbside pickup. If you don’t use the free app, you can use your own hardware, or Shopify has hardware available for an extra cost.

Shopify POS has four plans ranging in price from $5 to $399 per month, depending on if you’re a casual seller or a huge retail conglomerate. Like most payment processing systems, it does charge a credit card fee.
The system has features supported by a single back-office interface, an intuitive app, and fully integrated hardware. The features include inventory, staff, and customer management, as well as marketing tools and reporting.
Users find Shopify POS very easy to set up and use. Shopify reviews indicate that the program is intuitive, laid out well, and offers many features that make running a business easier. We especially like that it links to social media and provides in-depth analytics.
