Companies can hire with confidence when it comes to compliance too. Deel has over 200 worldwide local compliance experts who ensure companies hire in compliance with regional laws and tax rules. When hiring full-time employees out of the country, Deel will actually serve as the entity saving the company time and money having to do so themselves.

Deel payroll also offers features like contract management, health insurance packages, automated invoicing, and more. Deel pricing is affordable, and users say it’s the most cost effective in the industry for global employees and contractors.

What’s included in every Deel plan? Deel offers four plans: Contractors, Premium, and Deel Shield. In the contractor plan, you can hire in over 150 countries with 90 currencies to choose from. Premium is set up for employees of record (EOR) or hired employees, not contractors. Premium and Deel Shield allow you to hire in over 90 countries and currencies.

The Hire Employees plan is different. This plan is for companies hiring non-contractor employees that are located in a different country. The price reflects the fact that Deel allows companies to use one of its 100+ entities worldwide instead of setting up their own. Because setting up an entity in each country can get expensive, Deel serves as the entity taking on the full liability for that employee.

All plans come with 24/7 in-app support and a customer success manager. In the higher-paid tiers, you get support for your employees too. Legal and compliance are also covered on all levels, with higher levels of protection in the higher-paid tiers.

Users find Deel priced competitively. One Deel user told us, “We really appreciate our current PEO service’s competitive pricing. They offer comprehensive HR solutions at a cost-effective rate, which aligns perfectly with our budget and allows us to allocate resources efficiently.” As a small business owner, his company pays approximately $1,500 per month, and its services include basic HR administration, payroll processing, and employee benefits management.

Deel user review highlights

We analyzed 2,290 user reviews about Deel from four third-party review websites to provide this summary.

Most Deel payroll reviews are very positive, and the negative reviews we read seem to be mostly one-off complaints. The biggest complaint is that some users find that not being able to speak to a customer service representative is annoying at times. Other complaints mentioned that the timesheet review system’s interface could use an update.

On the flip side, most users appreciate how responsive, friendly, and helpful the customer service is. Deel reviews show that the software is very cost-effective and downright cheap to pay global employees. Users say that the interface is easy to use and onboarding employees, regardless of location, is easy.

A lot also rides on reputation, and Deel has a good one. One small business owner who uses Deel that we spoke to chose Deel PEO due to their strong reputation and track record in the industry.

  • Ease of Setup – Set up is easy, and users have no complaints.
  • Ease of Use – Deel reviews indicate that the software is user-friendly and easy to use right from the start.
  • Features – Reviewers find the one-click payment, automated invoices, and contract management handy features.
  • Quality of Support – While Deel doesn’t have dedicated phone support, users still rave about customer service, saying agents are helpful and responsive and go above and beyond for them.
  • Value for Money – Users find Deel very cost-effective when paying international employees.
