Updated September 17, 2026

ImpulseUp is a Brazilian 360-degree feedback software and performance management platform built around 360-degree evaluations, individual development plans, and people analytics. It lets HR teams run 90, 180, 360, consensus, and customer-facing review cycles from one system, then push the results into nine-box talent mapping, calibration sessions, and development plans. Employees evaluate peers and leaders through a single link on any device, and ImpulseUp’s own AI, iap, drafts insights and feedback summaries from the data.

Pros

  • Highly customizable scales, weights, and visibility rules
  • Nine-box, calibration, and PDI built into the same cycle
  • Flexible contracting: pay per evaluation credit or per user
  • Dedicated performance management consultant for every client
Cons

What is ImpulseUp?

ImpulseUp is a performance management platform that handles the full evaluation cycle, from building the questionnaire to delivering feedback and tracking the development plan that follows. HR teams configure a cycle in the platform, choose the evaluation model, and employees complete their assessments through a link that works on a phone, tablet, or desktop without a login barrier for reviewers.

The evaluation module covers 90-, 180-, and 360-degree reviews, plus consensus reviews and assessments that pull in customers. Templates are fully customizable: HR can adjust rating scales, show specific competencies by role, department, or reviewer type, and set weights, scoring rules, and visibility parameters for each audience. A reviewer nomination workflow lets employees and managers propose who evaluates whom, with approval steps before the cycle opens.

Once a cycle is running, administrators track completion in real time and can chase down missing responses before the window closes. Results feed a customizable individual report, an adjustable nine-box matrix, and analytics that compare one cycle against previous ones, so HR can show movement rather than a single snapshot. Calibration tools let leaders align scores across teams before results are published.

ImpulseUp layers its AI, IAP, across the platform to generate insights from evaluation data and help managers write clearer feedback. The Perfil 360º view consolidates everything known about an employee — evaluation results, goals, feedback history, development actions — into a single profile.

Around the evaluation core, ImpulseUp sells four other modules. Metas covers goals and OKRs with individual, team, and company-level targets, automatic cascading, configurable calculation rules, and integration back into performance scores. Pesquisa handles climate and engagement surveys, pulse checks, and eNPS, distributed by email, Slack, SMS, or WhatsApp, with heat-map analytics and post-survey action plans. Learning provides development tracks, course uploads, quizzes, certificates, and a ready-made course catalog. Remuneração Variável automates bonus and commission calculations tied to goals and performance results.

Every plan includes the platform-wide tools: individual reports, PDIs, continuous feedback, 1:1 meeting records, actions and initiatives tracking, org charts, engagement campaigns, gamification, an admin dashboard, and granular permissioning.

Is ImpulseUp legit?

ImpulseUp is a legitimate SaaS company operating as ImpulseUp Tecnologia LTDA. The founders began developing the product in 2017 after seeing how slowly and clumsily most companies ran employee evaluations, and launched ImpulseUp in 2018. The company landed its first client within a week and reached roughly 50 clients in its first six months, opening its headquarters in Brasília that same year.

Growth followed steadily: 200 clients by 2019, the OKR and goals module in 2020, and more than 320 companies by 2021. In 2024, ImpulseUp added its Learning and variable compensation modules along with the iap AI engine, and in 2025, it launched Perfil 360º and gamification.

Today, the company reports more than 500 client companies, over 400,000 users touched by the platform, 42,000-plus evaluations created, 500,000-plus goals, and 17,000-plus surveys, with a team of more than 90 employees spread across Brazil. Client references come from recognizable Brazilian companies including GS Inima Brasil, The Fini Company, Rede Supermercados Pague Menos, and Grupo IRKO. Review volume on third-party sites is modest but consistently positive, with particular praise for the hands-on account team.

How much does ImpulseUp cost?

ImpulseUp does not publish per-seat pricing. Buyers assemble a plan from the modules they need and get a quote from a sales consultant. However, they do offer a 14-day free trial to test their platform.
