What is RentRedi?

RentRedi is an all-in-one property management app that offers features for landlords, property managers, maintenance workers, and tenants. It facilitates some of the most common tasks involved in renting such as applications, leases, renter’s insurance, tenant communication, and rent collection.

When you want to market properties, you can use RentRedi to automatically upload them to realtor.com and doorsteps.com. There’s also an option to connect with Zillow, Facebook Marketplace, Craigslist, and a variety of social media platforms. This streamlines the listing process by enabling owners to connect to several different websites at the same time.

Once you start receiving applications, RentRedi allows you to view and compare applicants in a unified dashboard. You can gather key pieces of information such as their criminal background, eviction report, and credit report thanks to a partnership with TransUnion. The RentRedi tenant portal also includes an e-signature tool that enables tenants to sign their leases through the app itself.

After a tenant moves in, RentRedi continues to provide support for things like tenant messaging, maintenance requests, and rent payments. The app shows key data points including expenses, cashflow, transactions, and the total value of your real estate portfolio. You can easily download common financial reports and even access Schedule E reports that are ready to be sent to the IRS.

RentRedi user review highlights

We analyzed 208 user reviews about RentRedi from four third-party review websites to provide this summary.

Like any other property management platform (or business software in general), RentRedi has received a mixed bag of positive, negative, and neutral reviews. Our research indicated that most users are satisfied with their experience, although feedback varies depending on the specific feature in question.

For example, RentRedi stands out from its competitors due to the excellent comments it has received with respect to customer support. On the other hand, reviewers have left more critical feedback when it comes to RentRedi’s interface and overall ease of use.

  • Ease of Setup – The initial learning curve was a recurring theme in our experience reading user reviews. Some customers also mentioned that they were disappointed by the limited resources RentRedi offers to help streamline the setup process.
  • Ease of Use – Usability issues seem to persist after setup due to the unintuitive user interface and some other critical limitations. For example, one reviewer noted that the tenant module is only available on mobile, making it impossible for renters to pay rent through a desktop or laptop.
  • Features – Despite trouble with ease of use, comments about RentRedi’s features and overall functionality are generally positive. However, some users felt that the platform could benefit from greater flexibility and more customization options.
  • Quality of Support – Support appears to be the greatest strength of RentRedi based on user feedback. Many different reviewers made a point of noting the good experiences they have with the RentRedi customer service team.
  • Value for Money – While most users are OK with RentRedi’s relatively low monthly fee, they’re less accepting of the fees charged to tenants when paying rent. One subscriber mentioned that RentRedi incorrectly labeled bank transfers as debit card payments, which led to additional charges.
