What is Steer CRM?
Steer CRM is a marketing solution designed specifically for the needs of auto repair shops. No matter your scale, you can use Steer CRM to run more efficient marketing campaigns, keep in contact with your audience, and analyze the results to continue improving your practices. You can text, email, and direct mail customers about promotions, appointment reminders, service reminders, and review requests. Steer CRM makes it easy to send customers information about their specific vehicle’s needs.

Additionally, reputation management is included in Steer CRM. This means it collects reviews of your shop and lets you track your reviews and responses. Steer CRM also integrates with Google reviews.
On top of making things easier for marketers, Steer CRM streamlines interactions between shop staff and customers. Customers can easily schedule appointments online while Steer CRM sends automated service reminders for routine maintenance and pending declined services.
Steer CRM by Mechanic Advisor is a new service that will eventually replace Mechanic Advisor altogether. However, because it is so new, it does not integrate with all shop management systems. They are adding more daily, and it already integrates with most shop management systems, but if you use one it currently does not integrate with, you will be automatically be assigned to Mechanic Advisor until your shop management system is added to Steer CRM.
Is Steer CRM legit?
Steer CRM is a newly established player in the auto shop software industry. The software combines the best of CRM, marketing, and auto repair management systems to help businesses retain current clients and attract new clients. A company representative tells us that Steer CRM, created by Mechanic Advisor, is a rebrand of Mechanic Advisor, the latter which closed by the end of 2023.

How much does Steer CRM cost?
At this time, Steer CRM has not established pricing and plans. A representative from the company told us that it currently costs between $300 and $400 a month, and pricing is set on an individual basis. They are working diligently to get pricing and plans set up. We will update this information as soon as they do.
